In the mid-1980s five young men from Compton desided to establish the rap group N.W.A. This group is going to revolutionize the music business. The lyrics by Dr. Dre (Corey Hawkins), Ice Cube (O’Shean Jackson Jr.), DJ Yella, MC Ren and Eazy-E reflect their daily life, which is dominated by violence and drugs. Their music is an outlet for their frustration with the prevailing ills. For this they are revered by many people. Despite all attempts by the police to prevent their music with the hard hitting lyrics, N.W.A. is more successful than ever.
